Ok we (Heather, Trevor, Eric, and Kayla) found a bunny that we really want to have. The problem is Dad or Steve thinks bunnies should be for dinner NOT as a pet. So in trying to persuade him we wrote down the top 10 reasons to get this bunny we found on ksl.
1. he's so cute, come on Dad
2. Trevor will clean his cage twice a day (ha ha ha ha)
3. Eric will feed him a carrot after he's done with his dinner carrots.
4. Eric will jump rope with it..don't bunnies hop?
5. We can pet it.
6. Kayla will let her play princesses with me.
7. We'll take it on walks (shh don't tell Obi...he's not sure when HIS last walk was).
8. Kayla will read books to her (shh don't tell Kayla it is a he, she's quite outnumbered in our family as it is and may argue when she finds it is a he).
9. We can take it for show and tell a whole one time.
10.Trevor will run with it, don't bunnies run relays?
So any recommendations...Are we ready for bunny responsibility? Please Daddy.... To be continued in bunny years.

I am so with Steve, as having been an owner of several rabbits. They are cute and cuddly at first until you bring them home and then they become scratchy, mean, pooping machines. Rabbits don't like to be held and scratch the crap out of you when you try. Get a cat.
LOL, while I'm a big fan of cats, we had a bunny growing up and it was pretty fun. It was really soft and fun to pet but yeah, you can't really hold them. You just have to put it on the ground and pet it. We used to let "rabbit" (we didn't name it because we weren't going to keep it) run around the back yard in the summer, and around the kitchen in the winter. Mom would put up a kid gate so the rabbit couldn't get out of the kitchen, and it would do its business in the corner on a cookie sheet.
Anyway, it was a fun experience for me, but I'm sure it was a lot of work for mom and dad.
Do you remember Lisa's rex bunny clyde? I thought it was so cute, but I remember it would leave like brown marbels every time it moved, and it really didn't like to be held.
Besidess what would Obie Do with it? Obie might agree with steve and think rabbits are for dinner.
But I would love to come see it if you do get it.
You need to leave another post. I keep looking.
